This critical &#8220;middle cohort&#8221; provides institutions with an ideal window to analyze student satisfaction, retention indicators, long-term educational outcomes, and evolving academic and personal needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Key Findings from the 2026 Middle-Years Report:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-oxygen-font-family\"><strong>Academic Development:<\/strong> Self-reported academic growth, shift in career expectations, and goals since their first year of study.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-oxygen-font-family\"><strong>Evolving Campus Use:<\/strong> Data highlighting mid-degree reliance on electronic library resources, campus wellness, and student support systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-oxygen-font-family\"><strong>Mental Health Trends:<\/strong> Continued monitoring of student wellness profiles, with historical data tracking changes within the mid-degree student block.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The middle years represent a critical juncture in the academic journey,&#8221; said Wayne Sun, President of CUSC-CCREU. &#8220;By focusing on students who are neither navigating the initial transition of first year nor preparing for an immediate exit into the workforce, this year&#8217;s data gives universities targeted, actionable insights to design support structures that prevent mid-degree burnout and foster completion.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 2026 Middle-Years Student Survey Master Report is now available on the official <a href=\"https:\/\/cusc-ccreu.ca\/wordpress\/?page_id=3351&amp;lang=en\">CUSC-CCREU website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>About CUSC-CCREU<\/strong><br>The <a href=\"https:\/\/cusc-ccreu.ca\/wordpress\/?page_id=35&amp;lang=en\">Canadian Undergraduate Survey Consortium<\/a> (CUSC-CCREU) is a member-led organization that has collected rigorous data on the Canadian university student population since 1994.
